Vanta: Raises $50M in Series A Funding

  • Vanta, a San Francisco, CA-based automated security and verified compliance platform, closed a $50m Series A funding
  • The round was led by Sequoia Capital, with participation from existing investor Y Combinator
  • In conjunction with the funding, Sequoia General Partner Andrew Reed will join Vanta’s board of directors
  • The company will also use the new funding to meet customer demand, launch new products, and open a second office in New York
  • Vanta also provides a platform for companies to automate their security monitoring and prepare for SOC 2, ISO 27001, or HIPAA compliance certifications
  • The platform connects to services including Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services, GitHub, Okta, and Slack
