US paytech Sionic names ex-PayPal exec Susan Currey as chief compliance officer

Sionic, a US-based provider of digital payment solutions, has appointed Susan Currey as its new chief compliance officer (CCO). Currey brings over 15 years of risk and compliance management experience, previously working for banks and fintechs, including PayPal. In her new role, she will evaluate risk, establish corporate governance and regulatory frameworks, and develop risk and compliance management programs for Sionic’s payments platform.
