    • French fintech firm Sopra Banking Software has appointed Tobias Unger as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO).
    • Unger brings a background spanning banking and software operations, having held senior positions at Merrill Lynch, UBS Investment Bank, Falcon Private Bank, and technology firm Avaloq.
    • In his role as COO, Unger will lead the delivery of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) products to banks and financial organizations, focusing on global expansion plans and increasing internal efficiencies.
    • SBS aims to expand its C-suite, following the recent hiring of Raouf Mhenni as Chief Commercial Officer.
    • The company provides a cloud-based platform for digitizing operations across banking, lending, compliance, payments, consumer, and asset finance, with partnerships across more than 1,500 financial institutions and lenders in 80 countries.
