Tink has received FinTecSystems, a German open monetary association

  • Open banking platform Tink continues its expansion across Europe with the acquisition of FinTecSystems
  • In recent years,  become Germany’s third domestic open banking institution to be acquired or merged
  • FinAPI, situated in Munich, was bought by German credit bureau Schufa in December 2018. Deutsche Bank and Commerzbank are shareholders
  • Foreign firms such as Yapily and Nuapay have moved into the German open banking industry in the last year, ahead of the recent acquisition
  • Now had 150 banks as customers in Austria, Switzerland, and Germany
  • Data analytics, digital account checks, account aggregation, and open banking payments are among the services offered
