Temenos announced its 2023 Customer Awards winners, recognizing banks and financial institutions for their achievements in various categories such as customer experience, digital transformation, core transformation, banking innovation, sustainability banking, and visionary leadership. Three clients were also awarded the Innovation Hero Award for their successful deployment of innovative products.

  • Sustainability Banking Award – EQ Bank: EQ Bank in Canada, recognized as the best bank in the country, migrated to the Temenos Banking Cloud, achieving carbon-neutral status and reducing CO2 emissions by 93-97% compared to on-premise infrastructure.
  • Visionary Leadership Award – Abdullah Alomari from Al Rajhi Bank: Abdullah Alomari led Al Rajhi Bank’s transformation program, bringing all business lines onto the Temenos Core Banking platform, resulting in cost savings, improved customer satisfaction, and faster innovation.
  • Innovation Hero Award (Jury Choice) – Flowe: Italian challenger bank Flowe launched an Instant Payments solution using Temenos, enabling instant and secure money transfers while offsetting CO2 emissions through supporting a reforestation project in Guatemala.
  • Innovation Hero Award (Jury Choice) – Bank of Abyssinia: Bank of Abyssinia launched Ethiopia’s first digital banking app, Apollo, within four months using Temenos Infinity. It provides a complete banking experience and aims to promote a cash-lite economy.
