  • Founded in 2019, the bank started operations in 2021 after acquiring a Sudan-based branch of an undisclosed GCC bank.
  • It offers Shariah-compliant banking and financial services to individuals, SMEs, and corporates.
  • Previously, the bank used Path Solutions’ iMAL Islamic core banking system in 2020.
  • Leveraging Temenos’ cloud-based solution, they aim to develop and launch new products quickly, including a digital payments ecosystem.
  • Qamber Al Mulla, chairman, plans to enhance digital capabilities with instant onboarding, AI-based approvals, and digitized workflows.
