Spartan Radar Raises Additional $15M in Series A Funding

  • Spartan Radar, a Los Alamitos, Calif.-based provider of biomimetic radar solutions for automated mobility, raised $15m in Series A funding
  • The round was led by Prime Movers Lab with participation from 8VC and Mac VC
  • In conjunction with the funding, David Siminoff, General Partner at Prime Movers Lab, who will be joining SpartanRadar’s board
  • The company intends to use the funds to scale its continued efforts to recruit top talent while furthering productization of its safety technology
  • The company’s software is almost entirely hardware agnostic and can be deployed on existing radar systems
