Resolution Minerals Signs on Oz Minerals (ASX:OZL) to advance Benmara project

  • Resolution Minerals (RML) executes a farm in joint venture agreement with Oz Minerals (OZL) to fast track copper exploration at its Benmara project in the Northern Territory
  • Oz Minerals will be able to earn a 51 per cent interest in Benmara by spending $4 million on exploration over five years, which will formalise the JV
  • RML can retain its interest by participating, otherwise OZL can earn a 75 per cent interest by spending $1 million over five years to produce a positive decision to mine
  • Resolution says the partnership is validation of its exploration strategy during its 2021 field season which identified the potential for large-scale base metal deposits
  • ResolutionMinerals is trading 15.4 per cent higher at 1.5 cents while Oz Minerals is down 0.44 per cent and trading at $21.39
