Medwing Raises €44M in Series C Funding

  • Medwing, a Berlin, Germany-based digital HR management platform for healthcare, raised €44m in Series C funding
  • Backers included Hambro Perks and SVB Capital, Quadrille Capital, Cathay Innovation, Northzone, Cherry Ventures, and Atlantic Labs
  • The company, which has raised approx. €72m, intends to use the funds to enhance its market position in the UK and Germany, and continue to develop its platform
  • The company is a job matching and career consulting company for all healthcare professions
  • The platform uses digitisation and automation to make the matching process between specialist and hospital or nursing facility as timely, efficient, transparent and simple as possible for all parties involved
  • The startup has over 5,500 hospitals and nursing homes in its platform, which is used by over half a million workers in the healthcare industry
