Lokalise: Raises $6M in Series A Funding

  • Lokalise, a Riga, Latvia-based localization software startup, raised $6m in Series A funding
  • The round was led by by Mike Chalfen, with participation from capital300 and angel investors
  • The company intends to use the funds to hire talent globally in order to accelerate its growth, as they go fully-remote
  • Lokalise is a fully-remote startup with no prior funding, founded by Nick Ustinov and Petr Antropov in 2017
  • The product is a cloud-based software that streamlines the translation and localization process
  • To date, the company has attracted over 1,500 customers in 80 countries, from early-stage businesses, to scaleups, to Fortune500 companies
