Lithium Energy Begins drilling at Solaroz, Argentina

  • Lithium Energy (LEL) begins drilling at its highly prospective flagship Solaroz lithium brine project in Argentina
  • Drilling has begun at borehole OZDH001 within the Mario Angel concession and marks the first of a 10-hole diamond and rotary hole drilling program
  • The aim of this program is to test the extent and grade of the lithium mineralisation, porosity and flow rate across the conductive brines
  • Further, LEL will seek to confirm the exploration target of 1.5 to 8.7 million tonnes of contained lithium carbonate equivalent and define a maiden JORC mineral resource
  • LithiumEnergy is up 2.17 per cent on the market with shares trading at $1.18 at 3:09 pm AEST
