Lightdash Raises $8.4M in Seed Funding

- The round was led by Accel, with participation from Guy Podjarny, Ashley Kramer, Tristan Handy, Lars Bjork, Y Combinator and Moonfire
- The company intends to use the funds to beta release Light dash Cloud, hire new people and development new features
- The company is an open source BI platform built for analysts on top of the modern data tools they already use
- It brings visual layer together with data modelling and transformation layer, creating a single system for data metrics for teams
- It integrates with data tools such as dbt, Snowflake, Airbyte and Fivetran
