- Swiss fintech start-up Numarics has raised €10.2 million in a seed round. The funding was co-led by UBS and FiveT Fintech, among others. Numarics provides a finance and business management platform for SMEs, combining AI and human expertise.
- Nigerian start-up Zuvy has secured $4.5 million in funding, led by TLG Capital. Zuvy offers free invoice management software for businesses and plans to use the funding to meet increased demand and strengthen its balance sheet.
- Chilean fintech Shinkansen has raised $3 million in seed funding. The round was led by ALLVP and will enable Shinkansen to expand its money transfer and transaction solutions into Mexico, Peru, and other parts of Latin America.
- Moroccan e-commerce and fintech start-up Chari has raised $1.5 million in funding from Verod-Kepple Africa Ventures (VKAV). Chari helps small retailers in Francophone Africa with inventory procurement and offers financial services. The funding will support Chari’s expansion across Africa and the development of its infrastructure and new products.
