Fresh Prep Raises $21M in Series B Funding

  • Fresh Prep, a Vancouver, Canada-based meal kit company, raised $21M in Series B funding
  • The round, which brought total funding raised to date to over $35m CAD, was led by Yellow Point Equity Partners with participation from Renewal Funds
  • The company intends to use the funds to continue to accelerate growth through talent acquisition, automation, new products, and geographic expansion
  • FreshPrep provides a meal kit delivery service that delivers everything needed to make meals at home using fresh ingredients in 30 minutes
  • With a focus on sustainability, pre-chopped ingredients are delivered in reusable cooler bags with fresh, locally-sourced ingredients whenever possible
  • Currently, the Certified B Corporation® has a team of over 350 employees and services tens of thousands of customers across B.C.
