FinAccel: Raised $90m funding round

FinAccel: Singapore HQ, raised $90m in a Series C funding round

  • Led by Mirae Asset and Naver’s Asia Growth Fund, and Stripe-backer Square Peg
  • Other backers in the round included Singtel Innov8, Kejora Intervest, and Cathay Innovation etc
  • The round brings FinAccel’s total capital raised this year to more than $200 million
  • FinAccel’s vision to build a wide set of financial services that are fast, affordable and accessible for millions of customers in the region
  • Funding will use to double down on growth in the region, hire new talent and also expand financial services
  • Funding round also make access to loans easier for people throughout Southeast Asia
