Column Tax: Raises $5.1M in Seed Funding

Column Tax, a San Francisco, CA-based personal income tax software company, raised $5.1m in seed funding
The round was led by Bain Capital Ventures with participation from South Park Commons, Core Innovation Capital, and Operator Partners
The company will use the funds to expand adoption of its Tax Refund Unlock and Tax Filing products
ColumnTax provides an API that enables mobile banking and fintech companies to offer tax products to their account holders
In partnership with Klover, a provider of a free financial services platform, users can opt in to immediately access to their future refunds through the Klover app
