Chargebee: Raises $125M in Series G Funding

  • Chargebee, a San Francisco, CA-based subscription billing and revenue management platform, raised $125m in series G funding
  • The round, which isnow valued at $1.4 billion, co-led by new investor Sapphire Ventures and existing investors Tiger Global and Insight Venture Partners
  • In conjunction with the funding, Rajeev Dham, Partner at Sapphire Ventures, joined Chargebee’s board
  • The company intends to use the funds to expand its global presence and further add to its partnership network
  • Chargebee also provides a subscription billing and revenue management platform that automates revenue operations of over 3000 high-growth subscription-based businesses from startups to enterprises
  • Founded in 2011, the company includes businesses across 60 countries, like Okta, Freshworks, Calendly and Study.com amongst its customers
