Chargebee, a San Francisco, CA-based subscription billing and revenue management platform, raised $125m in series G funding
The round, which isnow valued at $1.4 billion, co-led by new investor Sapphire Ventures and existing investors Tiger Global and Insight Venture Partners
In conjunction with the funding, Rajeev Dham, Partner at Sapphire Ventures, joined Chargebee’s board
The company intends to use the funds to expand its global presence and further add to its partnership network
Chargebee also provides a subscription billing and revenue management platform that automates revenue operations of over 3000 high-growth subscription-based businesses from startups to enterprises
Founded in 2011, the company includes businesses across 60 countries, like Okta, Freshworks, Calendly and Study.com amongst its customers
