Calidus Resources: Completes $25M placement

  • Calidus Resources (CAI) has successfully completed a $25 million share placement
  • More than 49 million shares have now issued to professional and sophisticated investors at a price of 51 cents
  • Additionally, Calidus major shareholder, Alkane Resources (ALK), retained its 12.7 per cent ownership by investing $3.2 million
  • Calidus received strong demand for the placement with bids well exceeding the total amount
  • The company will also use the $25 million to fund work at its Warrawoona Gold Project in the Pilbara and to broaden exploration programs
  • Calidus has ended the day 3.28 per cent in the red with shares trading for 59 cents
