    • After leaving Barclays, Weston co-founded Volt Bank in mid-2017, an Australian digital bank.
    • Volt Bank obtained a restricted banking license in 2018 and became the first of its kind to acquire a full banking license in January 2019.
  4. Volt Bank Closure:
    • Despite initially achieving a valuation of $285 million and raising significant funding, Volt Bank announced its decision to shut down in June 2022 due to insufficient funds.
  5. Role at Barclays:
    • Weston’s role at Barclays involves leading the everyday money management team, covering areas such as credit cards, current accounts, payments, and personal loans.
  6. Reunion with Barclays:
    • Weston expressed his excitement about rejoining Barclays, stating that although nearly a decade has passed since his last role in London with the bank, he looks forward to reconnecting with the team.
