Arnica: raises $7M in Seed Funding

Arnica raises $7M in Seed Funding

  • Arnica, an Atlanta, GA-based behavior-based supply chain security software company, raised $7M in Seed funding
  • The round was led by Joule Ventures and First Rays Venture Partners, with participation from Avi Shua, Dror Davidoff, and Baruch Sadogursky
  • The company intends to use the funds to accelerate product development and scale its go-to-market teams
  • The company uses machine learning algorithms to identify the nuances of how each developer works and validates the authenticity of every change they make to the code
  • This allows the company to detect a would-be attacker who’s impersonating a developer, and prevent them from pushing malicious code to the codebase
  • The company automatically revokes privileges that are not being used, while integrations with everyday tools like Slack enable developers to regain permissions when they are needed
