Aguia Resources: Confirms quality of Três Estradas’ natural phosphate fertiliser
- Aguia Resources soybean agronomic tests have confirmed the quality of its Direct Application Natural Fertiliser Product from its Três Estradas Phosphate Project
- Soybeans are the primary commodity in Rio Grande do Sul, with over 5.7M hectares of crops that yielded more than 19M tonnes in the 2018/19 harvest
- Then the results have shown that saprolites from the carbonatite and amphibolite are highly effective sources of phosphate for soybean crops
- Pleasingly, the productivity results also show the high potential of DANF as a replacement for conventional phosphate fertilisers
- After the harvest, the zero-to-10-centimetre layer of the soil sampled and assayed to determine the phosphorous content
- Aguia ended the day with no change, with shares closing at 5.2 cents each
