Security Bank of Kansas City selects NCR Atleos to manage ATMs

  • Partnership Expansion:
    • Security Bank of Kansas City has expanded its partnership with NCR Atleos, the ATM business formed from the separation of NCR Corporation.
    • NCR Atleos will manage ATMs for the Security Bank of Kansas City.
  • Service Adoption:
    • The bank will adopt NCR Atleos’ ATM-as-a-Service and ITM-as-a-Service offerings.
    • The aim is to simplify access to financial services for consumers and businesses in Kansas City.
  • Deployment Strategy Reconsideration:
    • The bank reevaluates its self-service banking deployment model and strategy due to a “growing but aging” fleet of ATMs and the prevalence of interactive teller machines (ITMs).
  • Self-Service Banking Features:
    • ATMs offer traditional services like cash withdrawals and balance checks.
    • ITMs enable live interactions with tellers, and accept loan payments, deposits, and more.
  • Management and Maintenance Outsourcing:
    • NCR Atleos will manage and maintain both ATMs and ITMs for the bank.
    • Aims to free up bank resources for higher-value core business activities.
  • Efficiency and Growth Goals:
    • Thomas Davies, EVP at Security Bank, mentions the partnership will evolve their self-service strategy with greater efficiency and ease.
    • It aims to facilitate more convenient, accessible customer interactions while supporting the bank’s continued growth.
  • Global Engagement:
    • Security Bank of Kansas City joins UnionBank in the Philippines and Seacoast Bank in Florida in utilizing NCR Atleos’ ATM-as-a-Service technology.
