Webio Raises $4M in Series A Funding

  • Webio, a Dublin, Ireland-based provider of a Conversational AI in the credit, collections and payments industry, raised $4M in Series A funding
  • The round was led by Finch Capital
  • The company intends to use the funds to deepen their capabilities in conversational AI and additional digital offerings
  • They plan to triple the R&D team, expand the sales and marketing teams, and expand its customer success teams to address the market demand in the UK and European markets
  • Customers can ask questions, change payment dates, or organise a new repayment schedule, all tailored to their circumstances, all done through Conversational AI and automation
  • It is used by Irish brands like The Very Group, Studio Retail, Hoist Finance, DCBL, NCO Europe, Anglian Water, among others
