Native Pet Raises $6M in Series A Funding

  • Native Pet, a Sant Louis-based pet nutrition company, raised $6M in Series A funding
  • The round was led by Cavu Venture Partners with participation from Mars’ Companion Fund and Selva Ventures
  • The company intends to use the funds to continue its growth online and at retail locations, while expanding their innovative portfolio of whole-food pet supplements
  • Launched in 2017 by Dan Schaefer, CEO, and Pat Barron, NativePet makes all-natural pet supplements for dogs
  • The company offers nine products, which, created alongside certified veterinary nutritionists, are minimally processed and made with whole-food ingredients
  • The brand’s most recent product launch, a collection of air-dried chews, offers pets targeted relief in a protein-forward bite
