- Welding tech developer K-Tig (KTG) has appointed Adrian Smith as Managing Director, effective November 1, 2020
- Adrian joined the board on February 20, 2020, and has been an Executive Director since July 28
- The new MD has over 30 years experience in engineering, defence and strategic planning within Australia, working in both Managing Director and CEO roles
- Before joining K-Tig he worked with Telstra Applied Technologies, Rheinmetall Defence and simulation and training business Sydac
- At Sydac, Adrian was Founder and CEO, where he oversaw the company becoming the number 2 supplier of railway simulations
- K-Tig is down 3.7 per cent on the market with shares currently trading for 26 cents each
