Adyen, a global financial technology platform, and Affirm, a leading Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) provider, have announced the expansion of their partnership to Canada. This collaboration makes Affirm the first BNPL provider to support Adyen for Platforms, an end-to-end payment solution for platform businesses. Canadian merchants will now have access to a wider range of Affirm’s offerings, including monthly installment plans in addition to the existing biweekly payment options.

This expansion follows significant growth in the partnership, with average annual volume increasing by more than seven times from 2021 to 2023. The extended partnership aims to provide greater flexibility for consumers and drive growth for merchants across Canada
