Africa and Gulf Bank partners Orion Innovation for Temenos core banking upgrade

  • Africa and Gulf Bank (AGB) in Sudan has chosen Orion Innovation as its implementation partner for upgrading its core banking technology to Temenos’ cloud-based platform.
  • The move is part of AGB’s agreement with Temenos to power its digital transformation strategy.
  • Orion will oversee the integration of Temenos’ products into AGB’s operations to modernize its product portfolio and provide personalized, digital-first banking solutions.
  • The partnership marks Orion’s expansion beyond the US market, following a deal with Cebuana Lhuillier Bank in the Philippines in August 2023.
  • AGB aims to deliver robust banking services for Sudanese people through digital innovation.
